Though the COVID-19 pandemic wiped out his first season, he made a splash in 2021 and was named a Sophomore All-American by HERO Sports. He was also named Phil Steele FCS Ivy League Rookie of the Year after a 53 receptions and six touchdown catches season.

He was named all-Ivy League the next two seasons as he caught nine more touchdown passes and racked up more than 800 yards. In Walker’s final game at Brown, he had a season-high 92 receiving yards and five receptions in a loss to Dartmouth.

Walker rode that momentum into the transfer portal, where he eventually committed to Rice.
