For the first time in years, Cameron Diaz returned to the red carpet wearing dark clothing for the screening of her latest movie, where she co-stars with actor Jamie Foxx. Some fans were thrilled to see her, while others harshly judged her outfit.
On January 15, 2025, Cameron Diaz made her red carpet comeback after five years away from the entertainment industry. On seeing her photos and video footage from the special screening of the new movie “Back in Action,” netizens had much to say.

Diaz posed for photos in dark clothing — a long coat, top, and pants — at the event held at Zoo Palast in Berlin, Germany. A Facebook video showed her following instructions from the press as she posed, prompting various comments from fans.

Someone else, “Is she wearing a tent store?” After seeing more images of the actress signing autographs and posing with her co-star and long-time friend Jamie Foxx, an Instagram user, “she (sic) forgot to do her hair.”

Unfortunately, the New York City premiere of Diaz’s new movie which was set for January 2, 2025, was canceled due to the Los Angeles fires. In a statement released by Netflix the day before, they “We recognize many in our industry and their loved ones are currently affected, and our thoughts are with them at this time.”

The Diaz appeared in was 2014’s spy action comedy “Annie,” where she also starred alongside Foxx. On December 16, 2014, the actress attended the photocall for the movie at Corinthia Hotel London in England. For that occasion, she wore a white shirt beneath a black jersey.

While the “Back in Action” premiere marked her return to the red carpet, made several appearances in 2024, including at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in October.

At the event, , “For me, it was just something I had to do. It felt like something I had to do to reclaim my own life. And I just really didn’t care about anything else. I didn’t.”

She further stated, “Nobody’s opinion, nobody’s success, no one’s offer, no one’s anything could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself and building the life that I really wanted to have. So, I think it really comes to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.”
