“Okay, good,” Ed responded with good humor. “Did you really think I was going to come up with that?”

Ed also couldn’t be drawn into confirming speculation that Swift will make a surprise appearance to perform at the New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Sunday, where Travis’ team, the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at the 2025 Super Bowl.

“I wouldn’t, I have no idea,” Ed replied when asked if he knew whether the “Fortnight” singer was making a surprise cameo at the event. “I haven’t talked to Taylor this week. I have no idea what her plans are. I would let her publicist talk to you about that.”

Ed was more forthcoming about how big of a fan he was of his son’s girlfriend though, divulging what it’s like to sit next to her during Travis’ football games.

“She’s learning much more about football. She’s watching football with her dad a lot. She’s watching football whenever she can,” Ed revealed. “It was funny. We’re sitting in the game and the Chiefs were in the in the red zone. And they had… to go for a field goal. And I’m sitting there thinking, ‘I hate field goals.’ And Taylor comes back and says, ‘I’ll take the points.’”
