A video has gone viral this week of an attendee of one of Billie Eilish’s concerts hurling a bracelet directly at the singer’s face, and fans have been left stunned.

It isn’t just the strength of the throw which has left fans in shock, but the 22-year-old’s reaction.

Los Angeles-born Billie has been touring the US as part of her sell-out tour, where she’s been performing chart-topping hits like ‘Bad Guy’, ‘Ocean Eyes’, ‘Birds of a Feather’ and ‘No Time To Die’ – the James Bond theme track that earned her her first Academy Award.

She also bagged an Oscar for she and brother Finneas’ song ‘What Was I Made For?’, which left Barbie viewers in tears when it was played during a particularly poignant part of the 2023 chick flick, where Margot Robbie‘s titular character explores the societal preference of men over women.

Teasing this heartbreaking number last year ahead of its release, Billie claimed the track ‘means the absolute world’ to her, adding that ‘this movie is gonna change ur lives’ and ‘hopefully the song will too’.

Over the weekend, during one of her concert performances in the States, the hitmaker sat on the stage floor and began singing the emotional track when suddenly, something was launched at her face from the crowd. Take a look:

In a video of the incident – which has since reignited discussions on concert etiquette following a series of similar incidents last year – an item is thrown which appears to be a pretty hefty silver necklace or bracelet.

The jewellery hits Billie directly in the face before falling onto her lap, with the musician reacting initially with a shocked motion.

Impressively, she was able to continue performing without even skipping a beat, remaining composed and only enacting with an eye roll.

She then gently tossed the bracelet back into the audience.

Despite being praised by fans for her pristine level of professionalism, other attendees subsequently admitted they were surprised Billie continued playing, with some claiming they wouldn’t have blamed her if she cancelled the remainder of the gig.

Commenting on the clip on social media, one hit out: “Y’all need to stop throwing stuffs at singers on stage. That is just so disrespectful”

Another noted: “I’m no fan of hers, but I think singers should just end concerts if they get hurt by something someone throws at them. Just walk off the stage and don’t come back. Let the thrower become public enemy number one.”

“Why would you throw something onto the stage DURING a song … especially when they’re just sitting right there,” a third demanded.

“Yall need to stop disrespecting artists,” added another. “Whether you’re sorry or not, if it was your intention or not.

“Think of every possibility that could happen due to your actions first”.

The incident comes a year after Harry Styles rushed off stage unable to see after a fan threw a Skittle in his eye from the crowd, and Taylor Swift was forced to issue a plea to her Eras Tour attendees in the hope they’d resist doing the same thing.

Cardi B also launched a microphone into the crowd last year when one concert attendee threw an entire drink over her while she was performing.

Discussing the rise in these dangerous incidents last year, Billie herself spoke to the Hollywood Reporter.

“I’ve been getting hit onstage with things for like, literally, six years, I don’t know why this is like new,” she explained at the time.

“People just get excited and it can be dangerous.”

Billie added, however: “It’s absolutely infuriating when you’re up there. I have mixed feelings about it, because when you’re up there it blows.

“But you know it’s out of love and they’re just trying to give you something.

“You’re in a vulnerable position, but I’ve been getting hit with stuff for like years.”Featured Image Credit: TikTok

Coachella kicked off its festivities over the weekend (12 April) and, since then, there’s been a whole lot of buzz from fans online gushing over their favourite celebs’ sets.

However, one singer’s appearance has caused some pretty big waves on social media with many fans losing their absolute minds after being teased with a snippet of an unreleased track.

None other than ‘Ocean Eyes’ star Billie Eilish rocked up to the desert stage where she performed part of her new somewhat spicy song at the world-famous music festival.

But, the latest Coachella hype surrounds the 22-year-old hit-maker’s preview of her latest song, ‘Lunch’.

One crowd member recorded footage from the night and later posted it to TikTok with the overlay text reading out the lyrics while Billie sang.

The ‘Lunch’ lyrics go: “I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah, she dances on my tongue / Tastes like she might be the one / And I can never get enough / I could buy her so much stuff / It’s a craving, not a crush.”

Fans couldn't wait to praise Billie's latest track 'Lunch'.

The lyrics continue: “Call me when you’re there / Said, ‘I brought you something rare’ / And I left it under ‘Claire’ / So now she’s coming up the stairs / So I’m pulling up a chair / And I’m putting up my hair.”

Hundreds have since rushed in to share their elation over the new track with one TikTok user writing: “I’m currently in a state where I’m falling in love with Billie again.”

“She’s so real for these lyrics though,” praised a second, while a third piped up: “This album is about to be so good!”

A fourth penned: “Ahhhhh I need this album pleaseeeeeee!”

“The vibe of the album is fire,” gushed another.

Others, however, wondered how her brother, Finneas, coped with helping her write the lyrics.

“Idk how Finneas does it,” wondered one fan while a second chimed in: “Okay but how is finneas sitting there making this. Bless him.”

Another then agreed: “LITERALLY MY THOUGHTS!”

And a final TikTok user explained: “He probably just mentally separates it if that makes sense.

“Like he probably just focuses on the music rather than what the lyrics say / his sister being who sings them lmao.”

Well, regardless, I’m sure we’re all very excited for the new album whenever it finally drops!Featured Image Credit: Christina House / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images

Billie Eilish, 22, has opened up about her highly publicised past relationship with frontman of The Neighborhood, Jesse Rutherford, 33.

Billie Eilish Discusses Tourette’s

Billie‘s third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, was released on 17 May and has received widespread critical acclaim, following which her third cover story for Rolling Stone was published.

And in a follow up article, the publication revealed parts that hadn’t made the final cut to coincide with her album launch.

Rare comments about her ex-relationship with Jesse were included.

Billie publicly dated musician Jesse between October 2022 when they were first spotted in West Hollywood, and their split was confirmed in May 2023.

Their 10-year age gap attracted a lot of disapproval and controversy.

Billie’s brother, Finneas, told E! News at the GQ Men of the Year party in 2022: “Listen, as long as she’s happy, I’m happy.”

Billie and Jesse appeared to poke fun at their age difference, with Billie dressing as a baby and Jesse as an old man for Halloween that same year.

A representative for Billie told Page Six that they had split in May 2023.

They said: “We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends.”

There had been rumours of infidelity on both sides circulating online, and Billie’s representatives further clarified: “All cheating rumors are false. Both are currently single.”

The follow-up in Rolling Stone confirmed that Billie and Jesse remain on good terms.

Billie said: “That’s my guy, truly one of my favourite people in the world.”

As for her current relationship status, Billie added: “I plan on never dating again. That’s not true, obviously.

“But no, I don’t see myself being serious with anyone until I find someone that really feels right to me, and that is not interesting to me right now.”

Billie’s breakup and latest comments follow her making comments about her sexuality, which she has further emphasised in her new track ‘Lunch’.

In November 2023, Billie told Variety: “I love [women] so much. I love them as people. I’m attracted to them as people. I’m attracted to them for real.”

She continued: “I’m physically attracted to them. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”

The lyrics for ‘Lunch’ include: “I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah she dances on my tongue / Tastes like she might be the one / And I could never get enough.”

Later in the song, Billie adds: “Baby, I think you were made for me / Somebody write down the recipe / Been tryin’ hard not to overeat / You’re just so sweet.”

Billie Eilish reveals NSFW act she enjoys doing in the mirror

The 22-year-old ‘Lunch’ singer opened up about the private habit

Billie Eilish has a long history of being super candid with her fans about the intimate details of her life.

Whether she’s hitting out at body-shaming trolls online, normalising living with Tourettes or opening up about being queer – it seems the 22-year-old singer is all about being honest with her fans.

And one revelation saw Billie explain exactly how she practices self-love and why the way she does it is so ’empowering’.

Speaking in a recent interview with Rolling Stone about self-pleasure back in April, the pop icon explained that it is an ‘enormous’ part of her life, adding that it’s a ‘huge, huge help’ to her as someone with ‘extreme body issues and dysmorphia’.

Taking it one step further, she also revealed where she likes to do it and why that’s her go-to spot.

Baring all, Billie shared that she likes to explore self-pleasure in front of a mirror, explaining the two main reasons behind it.

She said: “Partly because it’s hot, but it also makes me have such a raw, deep connection to myself and my body, and have a love for my body that I have not really ever had.

“I got to say, looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking ‘I look really good right now’ is so helpful.”

She continued: “You can manufacture the situation you’re in to make sure you look good. You can make the light super dim, you can be in a specific outfit or in a specific position that’s more flattering.

“I have learned that looking at myself and watching myself feel pleasure has been an extreme help in loving myself and accepting myself, and feeling empowered and comfortable.”

She added: “I should have a PhD in masturbation.”

The ‘Ocean Eyes’ hit-maker also opened up about how female sexuality can often be shamed by society, explaining how her own experience being unapologetic in her desire has sometimes left people ‘uncomfortable’.

“My experience as a woman has been… It’s seen in such a weird way,” she revealed. “People are so uncomfortable talking about it, and weirded out when women are very comfortable in their sexuality and communicative in it.

She added: “I think it’s such a frowned-upon thing to talk about, and I think that should change.

“You asked me what I do to decompress? That sh*t can really, really save you sometimes, just saying. Can’t recommend it more, to be real.”Featured Image Credit: Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images/Jesse Grant/Getty Images for Environmental Media Associatio
